BLUE FEST
Blue Fest is a project we came up with back in 2019 as a way to meet other local musicians and let artists showcase their work. The first one we had in summer of 2019 was a huge success! We had a head count of close to 100 people, over 10 artists with their own art stands, and four live bands. Each year gets bigger and better.
Blue Fest 2 was hosted at Whalen Commons in Poolesville in 2021. We had 9 bands playing and over 100 guests. All funds were donated to Khalsa Aid for Covid-19 relief. Below you can find our recap video!
Blue Fest 3 was hosted in 2022 at Honey Acres Farm in Boyds, MD. This time we reintroduced local artists and had tables of local art displays while 8 bands played. The entrances fees and food sales were all donated to the Baltimore Youth Arts to promote young, local talent in the DMV.
We're all excited to see what Blue Fest 4 has in store.
LOVE IS GONE
“Love Is Gone” is a Mini Documentary of our personal experiences at the DC protests in June 2020 following the murder of George Floyd. We were shocked at the chaos and violence that ensued. We’re very grateful we were able to show support and be a part of such an important and historic event. We hope this helps to spread awareness of all that really happened that day.
DIRT
“Dirt” was one of our longest going and most ambitious projects yet. We put together a crew of talented and hardworking teen artists to create an entirely animated music video following the story of Axel and The Blue Cadet. Huge thanks to all of those who helped out with this project. A lot of hours went in to the making of this so it’d be much appreciated if you take a second to check it out.
DC'S FINEST
DC’s Finest began in 2019 and follows our mission to meet and support other likeminded local artists. We wanted the genres to range from everything to pop, rock, rap, heavy metal, indie, R&B, and everything in between. There’s something for everyone. This playlist highlights some of the greatest young and upcoming talent from the DMV. Hope you enjoy!
